Illinois Learning Standards
The programs of S.O.U.L. Creations have been aligned with the philosophy and goals of the Illinois Learning Standards. Currently we meet 27 standards in 5 learning areas. These include:
These learning standards address word analysis, reading strategies, geography concepts, historical events, team-building skills, and problem solving. In addition, we address how the arts shape and reflect history, society, and everyday life. Through applications of these learning standards, students demonstrate and strengthen their comprehension of basic knowledge and skills. These skills are multidisciplinary in their application and reinforce the importance of basic skills in reading and writing, among other areas. The opportunity S.O.U.L.
